What people told us about their experiences during the COVID–19 Pandemic in January 2021
Healthwatch Barnsley wants to understand people’s experience of accessing health and social care services during the COVID-19 Pandemic and consider how this is affecting their everyday lives.
142 residents responded to our latest survey regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and shared experiences with us.
Two thirds told us that they are now less active than before the pandemic due to a variety of reasons including lock downs and the closing of gyms and leisure centres. Many reported feeling social isolated and a breakdown in social circles due to the pandemic which has led to higher levels of anxiety.
