The Condom Card Scheme

If you’re aged between 16 and 25 years and live in the Barnsley, Wakefield and Wigan & Leigh districts, you can get free condoms through the C-Card scheme.

Using condoms is the best way to prevent you from getting or spreading STIs – not to mention avoiding pregnancy.

Register for your card here

If you’re between 13-15, you must ring one of our clinics to discuss the C-Card first.

Contraception Options

Choosing the right contraception for you is a personal choice – but you can get advice and further information by contacting your nearest clinic or using our online triage. There are a wide range of contraceptive options available. Effective contraceptives include ‘long acting reversible methods’ (LARCs, e.g. coils), the implant, and Depo injection. Other methods, such as condoms, also reduce the risk of STI transmission.

REMEMBER: Condoms are the only contraception method to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Condoms can protect you from STIs such as syphilis and gonorrhoea, both of which have increased in the last few years.
